Introduction

The private residence of 'Coteau Molière' sits high on a hill with beautiful views over the lovely town of Pézenas and the surrounding Languedoc countryside.

With its shared swimming pool for use by residents only, Coteau Molière is an ideal, child-friendly base for a wonderful holiday in this sun-baked region.

Med beaches lie just 12 miles to the south; enjoy the sand, the beachfront cafés and the water sports during the day before retiring back to a huge choice of traditional restaurants in Pezenas. Or relax on the terrace at the villa and dine alfresco with products from the local market.

This is also the largest wine-producing area in France so you'll never go short...

The villa has two double beds and a sofa bed in the living room if necessary. Terrace with table, chairs, loungers and BBQ.

Local Information

Pézenas is located amongst the Languedoc vineyards between Montpellier and Béziers and 12 miles from the Mediterranean coast with its glorious beaches. Delightful town in true Languedoc tradition with old, winding streets, Renaissance architecture, magnificent Saturday market and huge choice of pavement cafés and restaurants. All shops just steps from the house. Excellent internet café 30m from the house.

Many cultural events (concerts, festivals and outdoor exhibitions) take place every summer. Pézenas is generally considered the prettiest and liveliest 'small' town in the Languedoc. Totally unspoilt by tourism, the town is a bustling centre of southern-French life and a sheer delight on a summer's evening to sit and dine in the warm, open air and watch life drift gently by.

Mediterranean beaches lie 12 miles to the south. Endless, sandy child-friendly beaches, waterfront cafés and restaurants, all watersports catered for. Further beaches, casino, golf course, waterpark, theme parks, nightclubs at Cap d'Agde (25 mins).

Pézenas is surrounded by vineyards. Opportunities abound for tasting and buying.

Beautiful countryside and medieval villages to explore. Lake swimming, canoeing and spectacular scenery in the Languedoc National Park (30 mins).
